Many folks keep their work relative to personal flight devices to themselves or share only with a select few. Not only does this keep their work from unwanted prying eyes but
it keeps it relatively safe from confiscation by government or otherwise theft by corporations. There is less distraction from ones aim and you don't have
to put up with scoffers and skeptics that operate as energy drains.

When a mysterious object passed over Mount Vernon, Illinois, on the evening of April 14, 1897, 100 citizens, including Mayor B. C. Wells, saw something that, as press accounts had it, "resembled the body of a huge man swimming through the air with an electric light on his back."
This is a time fold. A human from the 1990's passed through and back out. Neida says the flier did not notice the difference down below him. He is an inventor who has a mechanical device which gave off a luminescence. This flier is a person known these days as one working in this field of endeavor.

It was the winter of 1936 in the Pavlodar region of Kazakhstan in what was then the U.S.S.R. when this sighting took place. Mrs. E. E. Loznaya was a 15-year-old girl then, and one day as she was walking to school on a quiet road, her attention was caught by a strange figure above her. Flying quickly across the sky was a man-like figure dressed completely in black. Despite its speed, the girl was able to see and describe it clearly. He was "of medium height and his black clothes covered him completely, like overalls," she said. It made a rumbling noise and appeared to her to be wearing a helmet of some kind, had a black surface where the face should have been, and wore a "rucksack" on its back.  Flying Robot. Another human experiment in flight. Mechanical in nature.

Several people saw a flying man over Chehalis, Washington on January 6, 1948.
Bernice Zaikowski was one of them. She was soon joined by some school children who asked to come into her garden to get a better view of the aerial mystery. The man, in an upright position, was hovering just 20 feet above her barn, she estimated. He was apparently kept aloft by long silver wings that were strapped to his body. He seemed to have controls of some kind on his chest, which he worked to maneuver himself with a lot of whizzing noise.
A fellow was experimenting with his personal flight device. Mechanical. The lady did not know the man.

In April 1948 , in the city of Longview, Washington, two witnesses saw no fewer than three helmeted men flying around. The witnesses could see no motors or propellers, yet it seemed to them that they could hear motor-like sounds.  No true flight going on, this was human trickery as magicians for instance only these were hobbyists. This comes only 4 months after the previous sighting.  The distance between this town and the one in the previous sighting is only about a half hours drive. I don't believe in coincidences much. I tend to think in terms of purposes, and reasons even. This is an attempt to debunk the prior sighting.

Falls City, Nebraska. On a fall afternoon in 1956 , "John Hanks" saw a winged creature flying only about 15 feet above the ground. Its wings were like shiny aluminum and had multi-colored lights running along their underside. The wings, spanning 15 feet, were clearly attached to the man by means of a shoulder harness. This flying man also had some kind of control panel affixed to his chest, and he manipulated the dials as he flew. This sighting could be attributed to some remarkable invention if not for the witnesses description of the flying man himself: leathery wrinkled skin, large watery blue eyes and a face that was "very frightening, almost demonic." The witness also attested that he was paralyzed as this "man" flew over.
A human experiment in Mechanical flight that did not perform all that well so they discontinued with it. The face was in fact a mask. The duration of the flights just weren't making it worth it for this person.

Athens Greece, Metz neighborhood, Date: September 14th 1998  Time: a little before sunset     Two women were sitting on the balcony of the house of one of them, at Markou Mousourou Street, opposite to Ardittos hill. They saw a small blackish object in the sky, about 1 km away. At first they thought it was a helicopter but there was no sound. When the object approached, they saw it was a humanoid figure in a standing position, (vertical). Getting closer, the flying humanoid turned its body once to nearby Zappeio park and then in the opposite direction, without changing speed or posture. It started to  come down and seemed to land somewhere inside the forest on Ardittos hill. They thought that the flying creature was wearing something like an "astronaut suit" because from time to time the sunset light gleamed on it. After the landing, the figure made some small mechanical "hops" ascending the hill until it reached a point just before the top, where it stopped. When hopping, it was not bending its arms or legs. Ten minutes later the creature transformed itself into a "bright spot" and then vanished. During the incident, there was a strong wind blowing but the movement of the creature's flight was steady. Sacred Sights Flier  Palampur, India  Date: October 5th 2004  Time: 6:35 pm   
While on an evening stroll on the hills of the Himalayan ranges the witness spotted a strange umbrella-shaped figure with what appeared to be legs hovering slightly above the ground. The figure was grayish white in color and was emitting a hissing sound. It was first moving down from a hilltop and after a meter or two it began to move horizontally at the very same moment the witness attempted to chase it. It ultimately disappeared into a crater filled valley.  Source: NUFORC Human personal flight apparatus - This is a spiritually oriented fellow who visits various sacred places around the world. He has used this device in Mexico and Africa and even Arizona too before.  He actually practices levitation and is decent at it but is not totally confident with it. He can fly himself, just a little bit but, still uses a device which he did not invent.  He has tinkered with it and improved it some. His can stay aloft for up to 60 seconds weather permitting.  This guy is not and does not try to be in the public eye. Kind of a loner.

Los Angeles, California  Date: June 11th 2005  Time: 3:00 pm
38-year old Jaime O was driving on 103rd street from west to east when suddenly on his left side; he saw a kind of flying man, robot or something similar. His first thought was that it was a remote control toy. He didn't stop because he couldn't. The silvery figure was flying above the trees; the witness did not see anybody around that would have been operating some type of control remote device. Its head, arm-like protrusions and legs were different from that of humans. It was flying standing up in a vertical position.

He used a hand held remote control device to control the apparatus. He has progressed from his flying device being smaller to one now this size. He is not an inventor but is mechanically inclined and is able to modify other peoples inventions. He is trying to improve on our present day hydrogen powered rocket belts. He lives within one hour of here.

Phoenix, Arizona  Date: September 23rd 2005  Time: morning
Rich Giordano saw something unusual in the sky almost directly above his head. It was a dark blood red object barely moving north. He grabbed a pair of binoculars and saw that it was definitely not a balloon. The object looked red but when looking at it through the binoculars the object had a golden-yellowish top (head?) and a black jet pack looking thing on the left side along with two leg-like appendages hanging down with round "shoes". The golden-yellowish head looked like an octagon shaped helmet through binoculars. The jet pack looked just like a jet pack from Buck Rogers with two oxygen tanks. Its shoes seem to direct the object. When the object moved the legs moved also. The object never wobbled or reflected the sun like a balloon. It was flying north then stopped and headed west in a perfectly straight line. The object was obviously heading on a straight line trajectory. It was moving at a snail's pace and at one point came to a complete stop and changed course going in the opposite direction. An inventor who lives in the Phoenix area was doing some experimentation. A jet pack of sorts was used with some additional aids; the shoes which behave as supplemental thrusters.  Neida says it only makes noise when it rises but kind of puffs just before it touches down.

The Cyclist - Location. Norwalk, California  Date: December 17th 2005  Time: around noon 
 The witness had gone to the front porch with his sister-in-law to smoke a cigarette and talk and while he was looking at her talk, an object came into view behind her, up in the sky. It couldn't have been too far because he could see its feet dangling in the air. The sky was clear and this black object stood out. It had no lights as both witnesses waited for it to come down, so that as it came closer they could clearly tell what it was. It resembled the figure of a man in a parachute, it followed a horizontal path and then it went upward until it just became a dot in the sky and disappeared into the clouds. It had clearly looked like a person on some type of parachute. It was clearly not a balloon, it followed a horizontal path at first and then it went horizontally for a while. A mechanical device employing a sort of billows and his pedaling kept it up. This is a very strong person, well built, possibly a professional cyclist. He was testing it out to see more of what he can do with it. Does he live in Norwalk? An inventive cyclist. Someone is trying to take his invention away from him but hasn't yet as of 3-6-07  He is a special effects person for a movie place. He is or has been a pilot. Neida gets the feeling of Will Smith and the movie Wild Wild West. His focus right now is not to sell it to everyone. He is still wrangling with its design etc.

 The Cyclist - Location: the South Hills area of Loma Linda, California, February 11th 2007   I was driving home in and noticed a strange site in the sky. I saw a man-sized "something" in the sky. It was speeding along and turning in a geometric spiral downward into a housing area. I did a double take, and parked my car to get a better look. At first I thought it was a kite. Then a bunch of helium balloons. The lower it got, the more it looked like a man with a jet pack on, or at least some kind of wings on his back.
     I realized it was not a kite, as it moved in such a way and at such a rate of speed that it could not be that. It had no earthly tether nor was it suspended from anything. It got to be about 100 feet off of the ground, when I noticed a few people across the street looking at it too. It finally did settle somewhere in the neighborhood, a few streets away.
     One of the men on the street said to me, "Did you see that? It looked like Mothman!" I had to agree at that point. I was under time constraints, so I did not try to find it. Truth be told, I don't need to meet up with Mothman, or a guy in a jet pack, for that matter! Quite a creepy thing to have witnessed in this upscale area!
Same person as in the Norwalk Ca. sighting. Both sites are pretty close to each other. This is the same guy as in Norwalk only he has discarded the former apparatus he used for this newer one. This one has wings. This device is fairly quiet. He can't take off from the ground unless it is off a hill like a hang-glider does. He has also leaped out of a plane and had it work.  He got his device from a developer of such things.

Atlanta, Georgia  Date: March 4 2007   Time: 2:00 am
The witnesses were staying at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in downtown Atlanta on the 17th floor when they looked out one of the windows and spotted what appeared to be a cloaked person soaring off the top of a building below them. A third witness came to the window and attempted to take a photo but it did not come out because of the glare. The figure "was moving like an acrobat in midair---it look like it had arms and legs and was holding onto a jetpack, though there was no loud noise and no exhaust" It eventually disappeared from sight.
